Mini Biography:
Juhi Chawla, after being crowned Miss India in 1984, became a top actress of the 90s. This bubbly Punjabi with a great smile and sense of humour won audiences with her warmth and down to earth attitude. Her comic timing was compared to Sridevi, who she cites as her idol. Though she made her debut much earlier in Sultanat which bombed, her big movie was Qayamat se Qayamat Tak with Aamir Khan in 1988 which went on to become a huge hit. She and Aamir became superstars overnight and were a much sought after pair. Their pairing brought super hit results again in Ishq in ’97.
